Worried about your conservative views being censored on social media platforms?
Well, that problem might just be getting taking care of after the White House created an online tool that would allow users to issue complaints.
On Wednesday, the Trump administration rolled out a website that would help those who have experienced bias and have been banned by the giants in Silicon Valley.
The website is simply designed and is presented in a survey form. It begins by bringing awareness to the importance of being able to express one’s First Amendment rights:
“SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS should advance FREEDOM OF SPEECH,” the form starts. “Yet too many Americans have seen their accounts suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear 'violations' of user policies.”
“No matter your views, if you suspect political bias caused such an action to be taken against you, share your story with President Trump.”
As you progress through the form you’ll be asked to share some personal information, indicate which platform was biased toward you, and give an explanation of what took place.
Many from the Twitterverse have shown their approval for such a move:
Finally. I've been screen-shotting evidence of their censorship & un-American behavior since 2016. I have one where this platform marked a photo of the American flag as "offensive". I pray for accountability when the truth comes out they lied🤥under oath. "No bias"...psh!😏

Done, I have shared how twitter has silenced me speaking out against democratic lawmakers and activists numerous times. @Twitter, your tyranny through censorship is over.

This website is awesome... and hopefully we will be in a position to use this in a class action lawsuit against big Tech ...

And there were those who showed disapproval, expressing their concerns for privacy:
America's first step in creating a Chinese-like "social credit score" to help identify anti-Trump speech

I think it will be flooded with bogus claims and such, and for sure the orange tyrant's tweets will be reported en masse. No idea how they plan to manage the data, and I'm thinking more than a few people will have second thoughts on offering up all that personal info.

The first step to censorship.

All in all, the survey is meant to help those who feel they’ve been fighting a losing battle against the social media behemoths.
Oh yeah, and also, the form is only for American citizens, so if you’re not a citizen you’re going to have to issue your complaints to WhiteHouse.gov/contact.
