President Donald Trump plans to visit a new civil rights museum in Jackson, Mississippi this Saturday -- and judging by these tweets, people are pretty mad about it:
The organizers should not allow him there. His mere presence there is a grave insult to the history of the civil rights movement.

I agree. He should not be there.

They should put up a sign saying No Orange Racists Allowed.
Inviting Donald Trump

to a civil rights museum opening is like inviting
David Duke to a holocaust memorial.#NotInMyMississippi #NotMyPresident
He’s a vile lying racist #impeach @realDonaldTrump

However, not everyone saw his upcoming appearance in a negative light:
Don’t visit and you’re hated, visit and you’re still hated. This is why it’s folly to appease the left. https://t.co/dh96vFZ4NT

As a Jackson resident I’ll be there to support him. Don’t you all forget your pink hats.

The Hill reported that President Trump has been accused of inflammatory remarks against minority groups, citing incidents such as his “both sides” comment on the violence that broke out between white supremacists and counter-protesters in Charlottesville, criticizing the NFL kneeling protests against racial discrimination, and calling Sen. Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas.”
This Facebook comedian, Rita Brent, even posted a video of a prayer to “Impeachment Jesus” calling on him to “release a black ghost and let him pop Trump upside the head with a bunch of sage."
