President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the high-scoring college football game between second ranked Louisiana State University and third ranked University of Alabama this past Saturday, and the fans in attendance made their opinion of the president known loud and clear.
The response for Trump made such an impression that the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted out video of the moment.
Take a look:
Why are we not seeing wall to wall coverage of crowd responses anymore? I was under the impression that they were very news worthy last week? pic.twitter.com/AYxnQRWn7h

It was pretty clear how the crowd felt about Trump. CNN’s Dan Merica also tweeted out footage of the crowd breaking out into “U.S.A.” chants.
Here’s Merica’s tweet, which noted that the crowd, despite not being shown in the video below, also chanted “Trump 2020”:
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump greeted with cheers and chants of “USA” and “Trump 2020” here in Tuscaloosa at #AlabamaVsLSU.

The Trumps were announced during the first timeout. Alabama fumbled in the red zone right after. pic.twitter.com/cqBFegmYs0
Predictably, some people blamed Trump for Alabama losing the game, because they don’t understand football. Even former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram II tweeted that ‘Bama had “bad swacky” because of Trump’s presence, whatever the heck that means.
I’m blaming Trump for this one. Soon as they showed him at game we had that bad swacky!!

Judging by the final score, LSU 46 - ‘Bama 41, Ingram II might want to blame the loss on the Alabama defense’s inability to stop the LSU offense. It was 33-13 in LSU’s favor at halftime.
When someone called Ingram out on who was actually to blame for his alma mater losing, such as the LSU players, Ingram II did respond in agreement.
I can agree with that 😂😂😂😂 https://t.co/Qaqz7bcErl
