It didn’t take long after two planeloads of illegal aliens were dropped off on the swanky Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard for the natives to become restless.

Almost immediately after Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis dumped a paltry 50 recent border-crossers into the heavily blue, luxury resort town, local residents began complaining that the migrants – who, about two seconds ago, were poor, destitute people welcomed with open arms by bleeding heart leftists – couldn’t stay, citing limited resources and a “housing crisis.”

The town even declared an "urgent humanitarian crisis" over the small group who'd landed in their backyard, wringing their diamond-clad hands over the terrible prospect of having to cater to a few dozen brown-skinned, non-English speakers who needed food and shelter.

Which Twitter users found awfully rich, given Massachusetts’ supposed “sanctuary” policies for illegals.

If a measly 50 migrants was enough to send this wealthy community of beachfront mansions and luxury cars reeling from the stress, imagine if they had to handle the thousands of border crossings that small towns all throughout Texas and Arizona face every single day.

The difference? Those border towns didn't ask for this crisis.

Leftists did. So let them deal with it.
