Evidently, Attorney General Merrick Garland’s unwarranted and conspiratorial attempt to portray as “potential terrorists” concerned parents who speak out at local school board meetings was not enough federal antagonism of local folk. Evidently, his Department of “Justice” communication with high-ups in the leftist National School Boards Association (NSBA) that helped facilitate the bogus “terror” narrative also was insufficient as an attack on average Americans.
Now comes a new report of a high-ranking U.S. Military apparatchik who called the police to report a mom who posted on Facebook her concerns about a school promoting “polysexual art.”
As Yael Halon reports for Fox News, via the NY Post:
“A high-ranking US military official was called on to resign Wednesday after he responded to a Facebook post by Angela Reading, a mother and member of the Northern Burlington Board of Education, flagging her to local police for exhibiting what he described as ‘safety concerns.’”
The military man who “flagged” her is a Lieutenant Colonel. And his misuse of his position sounds more like an occupying force interfering in local affairs - affairs of a woman who is forced to pay that Lt. Colonel’s salary.
Adds Halon:
“Lt. Col. Christopher Schilling of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, which is nearby, apparently took issue with Reading’s post alerting parents in a local Facebook group of posters hanging at the entrance of her 7-year-old’s school displaying different kinds of sexuality, including the virtues of being ‘polysexual.’
The posters were reportedly part of an assignment to create a ‘safe space’ for all students to ‘feel good and accepted.’ Kids as young as 9 years old allegedly participated in creating these posters, as detailed on the ‘Chaos and Control’ Substack page, which first reported on the story.”
Yeah. Teachers gave this assignment to kids in the Fourth and Sixth Grades, to nine and eleven-year-olds.
But letting people know about that is a big no-no in contemporary America, where everything must be accepted by everyone – except, of course, for the concepts of federalism, parental rights, constitutionalism, freedom of choice in energy use, the rights of the unborn, restrictions on military spending, and many other transgressions of Natural Rights.
But it gets worse. “He/Him” Pronouns Operations Officer Lt Colonel Shilling not only called the cops, he took to Facebook to state that the “Joint Base (McGuire, Fort Dix and Lakehurst) leadership is now working with local law enforcement to ensure the ‘safety’ of the entire community.”
“The current situation involving Ms. Reading’s actions has caused safety concerns for many families,” he wrote on his personal Facebook page. “The Joint Base leadership takes this situation very seriously and from the beginning have had the Security Forces working with multiple state and local law enforcement agencies to monitor the situation to ensure the continued safety of the entire community.”
Really?
Her post is clear, and not threatening. She expresses concern, bewilderment, and anger. In her posts, Mrs. Reading notes that she was ‘livid’ after her seven-year-old daughter read the posters while attending an elementary school ‘Math Night’ and she asked her mom what ‘polysexual’ means.”
Dang, this mom is such a threat. Better get the military involved.
And in her SCARY posts, Reading added:
“’Why are elementary schools promoting/allowing elementary KIDS to research topics of sexuality and create posters? This is not in the state elementary standards (law) nor in the BOE-approved curriculum. It’s perverse and should be illegal to expose my kids to sexual content. Look up the terms, and you will see they are sexual in nature.’”
Again, it seems as if Mr. Lt. Col He/Him Pronouns doesn’t quite grasp who is threatening whom.
Reading added:
“How can my young children be accepting of people ‘who are sexually attracted to multiple genders’? They don’t know what sex is! Are adults talking about their sexual life with my kids and looking for affirmation? Are there elementary students engaged in polyamorous or multi-gender sexual activity who need my kids to know about it and cheer them on? I am very confused and very angry.’”
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Reading said that soon after Schilling targeted her, the local chief of police contacted the administrator of the Facebook group and told her that the post “should come down.” Reading agreed to have the post pulled and then contacted the police chief directly to remind him of the First Amendment.
Amazing.
But remember; it’s much more comforting to pretend we don’t live in a police state.
