Despite repeated claims that those protesting the decision not to indict Officer Darren Ferguson do not endorse the violent riots that occurred following Monday’s announcement, MRCTV witnessed something very different at one of the protests in Washington DC on Tuesday night.

Several of the protesters we spoke to showed full support for the rioting. "That's exactly what I'm saying," one woman told MRCTV.

"We support the violent protests," declared one man we interviewed who claimed that the violence was a legitimate expression of “communal self-defense.”

This attitude was also seen on Monday night when Michael Brown’s stepfather encouraged supporters to “burn this bitch down.”

Additionally, the DC protesters frequently broke into chants of “f--k the police” and held up provocative signs including one that read “Tell the Police to Calm the F--k Down.”  Which this reporter found slightly ironic considering the recent fires and toppling of police cars that we’ve witnessed in Ferguson over the past few nights.

Some went off-topic, using the opportunity to call Fox News racist or protest a movie they didn't like.

While the protesters in DC remained peaceful throughout the evening, it is clear that some of them would approve of an increase in violence if it led to something more in tune with their view of what constitutes “justice.”
