Recently, the Fairfax County (Va.) School board voted to include “gender identity” to the school system’s Equal Opportunity policy. This change would permit students to use bathroom facilities such as locker rooms and showers that do not correspond with their biological sex. The school board came to this decision without first consulting parents, many of whom were understandably outraged when they discovered what the board had done.

MRCTV attended one of the county's school board meeting to see how parents and students on both sides of the issue would react to the controversial decision.

Some in attendance even went so far as to compare efforts to stop people of one biological sex from using the bathrooms of the other sex to Jim Crow laws and efforts to stop racial segregation in the 1960s.
