VOX: Stockpile Abortion Pills Just 'In Case'

The abortion pill garners roughly $300 million every single year in sales. It’s no wonder abortion providers want to find ways to keep abortion legal.

A Tuesday Vox article by Rachel Cohen showed just how far people are willing to push the envelope of insanity in order to maintain the “right” to abort. Their proposed solution this time? Keep abortion pills at home “in case” Roe was overturned.

PTL for Vox for helping women who want to kill their babies.

With more in-person clinics shuttering and a Supreme Court that’s threatening to overturn Roe v. Wade, a small but growing number of reproductive experts have been encouraging discussion of an idea called ‘advance provision’ — or, more colloquially, stocking up on abortion pills in case one needs them later.

Yes, so rather than stocking up on toilet paper or rice or water, we should all start filling our apocalypse closets with an ample supply of abortion pills. Don't fret! The drugs used in chemical abortions are mifepristone, which has a five year shelf life, and misoprostol, which has a two year shelf life. Few!

Vox used a hypothetical situation to essentially say that women should store abortion pills to kill their babies, even when it's illegal.

In Texas, for example, if you don’t realize until eight weeks in that you’re pregnant — which could be only a couple of weeks after a missed period — you would have already passed the state’s new legal deadline for obtaining abortion pills. But if you had already stored them in your home, or your friend or neighbor had, then you’d be able to take them.

Vox even provided readers with directions and resources on how to obtain advanced abortion pills, but it said nothing about what an abortion pill actually does.

When a woman takes the pill, the progesterone hormone becomes inhibited. This starves the child in the womb of all the nutrients it needs and results in the termination of the child’s life. It's most common for first trimester abortions.

Again, Vox didn't explain how the pill even worked but still claimed that “It’s a safe option for most patients.” As you can imagine however, this type of pill is extremely unsafe. Live Action reported that since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the drug, close to four million babies have died by abortion as a result. The same report indicated that there have been over 4,000 women who have suffered adverse effects from the pill as well as 24 maternal deaths.

For risks like those, Gov. John Bel Edwards (D-La.) banned the distribution of these pills via mail in one of his two pro-life bills he passed on Tuesday. Yet, lefty money whores and those at Vox are still encouraging women to buy these drugs. Vox even deemed prosecutors as “overzealous” if they aimed to go after women for stockpiling pills.

Apparently, you’re overzealous if you do your job and prosecute those who break the law.

Vox is just another progressive globetrotter and this article and the organization's commitment to ending innocent life is something they should be ashamed of. Stockpile canned goods, not abortion pills.
