Five women were pulled off an L.A.-bound Spirit Airlines flight Wednesday after a fight broke out aboard the plane.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the whole melee started when two female passengers began openly playing loud music from a “boom box,” irritating other passengers:
Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry said several other customers asked the women to turn down the music, but the women refused. Instead, the women posed a challenging question: “What are you going to do?”
“Then to provoke the other customers they were holding up their boom box in the air, waving it around,” Berry said.
That’s when a second group of passengers approached the two women and a fight started, he said.
The five women involved in the altercation were removed from the plane after it landed at LAX. No one was charged in the incident -- but thanks to modern technology, someone captured the whole thing on tape (courtesy of KLTA5):
