Far-left, woke politicians are really bad at their jobs. They’re so terrible that they often have to reverse course on their own policies after months of their “original” ideas failing. New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who vowed to be tough on crime, is now telling business owners in the city to ignore what he previously told them.
In order to combat the ridiculous amount of theft and rising crime in the city, Adams is now telling shopkeepers to bar people from their businesses if they “refuse to pull down their mask when they first come into a store.”
“We are putting out a clear call to all of our shops, do not allow people to enter the store without taking off their face mask,” Adams said in a radio interview on 1010 WINS on Monday, according to The New York Times. “And then once they’re inside, they can continue to wear it if they so desire to do so.”
It’s just an accessory at this point, folks. If the mask you feel you need to keep wearing isn’t a specific type of mask, then you’re just wearing cloth on your face. It’s not really preventing anything from happening to you, as I reported a couple of years ago based on a CDC study.

Adams even took his call one step further and made one of the most obvious statements in history.
“Let’s be clear, some of these characters going into stores that are wearing their mask,” Adams also said, “they’re not doing it because they’re afraid of the pandemic, they’re doing it because they’re afraid of the police.”
Excuse my French, but no s**t, Sherlock!
Did it take you this long to figure that out? If that’s the case, politicians are even dumber than I previously thought — and that’s saying something.
If these establishment hacks didn’t have their heads so far up their own behinds, thinking their smell is wonderful simply because they’re virtuous in some way, they might realize how incredibly dumb a vast majority of their policies are that have been put in place only to subsequently get reversed.
