“We are looking at other executive actions that we can possibly do. This president has done more executive actions at this point than any other president,” White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters when speaking on gun control measures on Tuesday.
“We have a White House team that is in constant communication with Congress on an array of issues, including this one, because, again, this is a priority. And he wants to make continue to make sure that he continues to voice his concern and what needs to be done next.
Look, the president has done everything that he can from the federal government. We are looking at other executive actions that we can possibly do. This president has done more executive actions at this point than any other president. But it's not up to him alone.”
Unless, of course Biden does issue an executive order. Then he does it alone, as he has many times in the past. As Jean-Pierre herself said, “This president has done more executive actions at this point than any other president.”
