Everyone knows Greta Thunberg, the 20-year-old climate change activist who’s known for being the face of the left’s fear-mongering, climate change alarmism.

According to Wired, during Thunberg’s early teenage years, she grew so concerned about the state of the planet’s environment that she developed depression and skipped extended periods of school to protest on the steps of Sweden’s parliament building in impeccable fashion choice: a blue jacket, leopard print pants, and double braids.

Jeez, you really can’t make this stuff up, but wait, her story gets crazier.

Five years ago today, Thunberg predicted the world would end in five years if humanity didn’t stop the use of fossil fuels.

“A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years,” Thunberg wrote in a 2018 tweet that has since been deleted.

As you can see and feel, planet Earth is still here and doing just fine – well, maybe not according to the left – but, it’s still here nonetheless.

How could Greta possibly have gotten it so wrong?! Isn’t she the face of environmentalism? Isn’t she what the left typically holds up in esteem as an “expert?”

Maybe that’s because Greta and the rest of the left’s narrative about climate change is actually far from being rooted in actual science or truth and has much more to do with intentionally stirring up the pot to drive the rest of the population into climate hysteria.

Even the National Institute of Health (NIH) released a piece titled, “Many climate change scientists do not agree that global warming is happening.”

According to the NIH, a letter signed by over 50 leading members of the American Meteorological Society warned about policies being promoted by environmental “pressure groups.”

The warning came in a signed statement that reads as follows:

‘The policy initiatives derive from highly uncertain scientific theories. They are based on the unsupported assumption that catastrophic global warming follows from the burning of fossil fuel and requires immediate action. We do not agree.’

Most members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change believe that current climate models do not accurately portray the atmosphere-ocean system. Measurements made by means of satellites show no global warming but a cooling of 0.13°C between 1979 and 1994. Furthermore, since the theory of global warming assumes maximum warming at the poles, why have average temperatures in the Arctic dropped by 0.88°C over the past 50 years?

That’s a good question, isn’t it? Maybe a better question is why the left continues to peddle the climate hysteria narrative when it’s continuously being debunked by scientists in the field?

The answer is that the left, even though they claim to be the champions of science, doesn’t actually care about truth at all and are more interested in getting everyone on board with their dystopian agenda, even if it means convincing the entire globe they should be in a panic over agendas like climate alarmism.
