This is both funny and not funny. The video you’ll see below IS funny because people on the right have been calling out the fact that Muslim-majority protests, cities and countries don’t always take too kindly to the Alphabet Mafia (LGBTQ community). The video in question ISN’T funny because aforementioned take is true and sometimes doesn’t end well for the rainbow crew.
Luckily, from all accounts, the encounter in the video below didn’t include violence, so yeah, it’s pretty funny.
A video of a man carrying a rainbow flag with the Dutch word for peace (“VREDE”) emblazoned upon it to a pro-Palestinian protest is making its rounds on all the social media platforms, and — surprise, surprise — the man wasn’t given the warmest of welcomes.
