Whoops! Model Emily Ratajkowski Inadvertently Calls Her Baby a 'Boy' After Saying He Could Pick His Gender

Some things in life are just so natural that it’s hard to go against it. Take gender, for instance.

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski is about as leftist as they come. She supports Black Lives Matter, wants to defund the police, stands with Planned Parenthood, and when she was pregnant back in 2020, she stated in an article that she wrote for Vogue that she would let her still-unborn child choose their own gender when they turned 18.

“I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible,” Ratajkowski added.

In that case, she’s off to a poor start. According to Bounding Into Comics, Ratajkowski recently uploaded to Instagram a picture of her and her baby, who she described in the post as a “beautiful boy.”

It should be noted that while elaborating on her progressive views on raising children, Ratajkowski inadvertently used pro-life language as well.

“We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then,” Ratajkowski wrote in her article. “Everyone laughs at this. There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who — rather than what — is growing inside my belly.”

In the same article for Vogue, Ratajkowski stated that the idea of giving birth to a boy frightened her.

“I’m scared of having a son too, although not in the same way,” she wrote. “I’ve known far too many white men who move through the world unaware of their privilege, and I’ve been traumatized by many of my experiences with them.”

Given her Instagram post, it would seem that she’s forgotten her fears, at least temporarily.

Nice try, Ratajkowski, but it looks like it’s easier to be “unwoke” in general. Sometimes the reality of human nature is so blatantly obvious and beautiful that even a leftist like you inadvertently admits that the woke agenda on gender and babies is an intangible mess that makes no sense.
