Talk about giving a whole new meaning to the word “cat-lady.”
While Angela from "The Office" might be an exaggerated take on an odd woman obsessed with her cats, this actual woman over on TikTok is that delusion personified, having posted a video on social media describing how she has dedicated copious amounts of time and energy learning how to speak to her cats via various “meows.”
No, really.
The cat-lady explains that there’s the “standard meow,” used for greetings, as well as the “dissatisfied meow,” which is a bit more disgruntled. “On very rare occasions,” one might use an angry meow, but “overall, we’re a very happy kitten family.”

The hardest meow that took her “a really long time to master,” however, is the “I want to go potty meow” – not to be confused with the “I need help wiping meow,” which is apparently very different.
Oh, and it gets worse. The cat-lady then explains how she learned to recognize the “I’m in heat” meow, which indicates that her cats need “a little more special attention, if you know what I mean.”
I’m not sure that I do…or that I want to.

Maybe this lady and the one who thinks she’s a bird could join up and commiserate over their human limitations in the animal kingdom.
Then again, perhaps they wouldn’t get along so well, after all.
