Almost immediately after Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz published a hit piece outing the identity of the creator of the popular “Libs of Tik Tok” Twitter account as a Brooklyn woman named Chaya Raichik, another woman who unfortunately shares the same name says she’s been buried under an avalanche of harassment and threats from leftists who've mistaken her as their enemy.

This Chaya Raichik, a Los Angeles native and mother who says she now lives in England, posted some of the messages she’s gotten from random people who mistakenly believe she’s the same Raichik behind "Libs of Tik Tok."

“Real what you sow, you hateful lying hypocrite. Your entire life online has been spent endangering the life of children,” one person wrote, per a screenshot of the message.

“You are whats [sic] wrong in this world. You’re vile and disgusting. Your children should be taken away from you and put in a safer home. May you rot in hell,” another wrote.

Another penned, “If you were at the Capitol Jan. 6, I suggest you leave America,"

Raichik says some have found and publicly posted her parents’ address, where she says her autistic sister also lives.

In a story shared to her page, Raichik has begged Lorenz and the Washington Post to clarify that she is not, in fact, the woman behind the Libs of Tik Tok account (the actual LoTT owner says she’s safely holed up in a safe location) – but so far to no avail.
