Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Dr. Anthony Fauci took to the streets of the Anacostia neighborhood in the nation’s capital to bully unvaccinated residents into getting the COVID jab – only to get wrecked by a man who knew a little more than they expected him to.

Filmed in 2021 for an episode of PBS’s “American Masters” series highlighting Fauci as one of the “important figures in America's artistic and cultural life,” Bowser and the then-overpaid NIH official went door-to-door in one of D.C.’s roughest areas trying to convince people to get vaxxed, only to encounter a resident who told them exactly where they could shove all their self-righteous posturing.

"So, I'm not going to be lining up taking a shot on a vaccination for something that wasn't clear in the first place," the man told the pair of D.C. elites. adding, “Nine months is definitely not enough for nobody to be taking no vaccination that you all came up with."

"But if thousands of people like you don't get vaccinated, you're going to let this virus continue to percolate in this country and in this world," Bowser pushed back.

"Something like the common flu then, right?" the man responded.

Fauci tried to convince the man that more people died from COVID than the flu, but he remained unconvinced.

“Because when you start talking about paying people to get vaccinated, when you start talking about incentivizing things to get people vaccinated, it's something else going on with that,” the man shot back.

"[Your] campaign is about fear. It's about inciting fear in people,” he told them, as Bowser and Fauci finally gave up and started to walk away. “You all attack people with fear. That's what this pandemic is. It's a fear, it's fear, this pandemic. That's all it is.”

Another woman told Fauci she didn’t think the shot was helpful, saying, “I heard that [the vaccine] doesn't cure it, and it doesn't stop you from getting it."

Well…she’s not wrong. Not that Fauci and his ilk were admitting it back in 2021.

It turns out all those stupid white country folk out there with their guns and their MAGA hats aren't the only ones who were skeptical of Fauci's Quicker Fixer COVID Elixer.
