Beto O'Rourke spoke Spanish and talked corporate taxes but avoided answering a question about whether he supported a 70% individual marginal tax rate.
O'Rourke avoided answering his first question at the Democratic Presidential Debate on Wednesday.
First O'Rourke replied in Spanish and then discussed the need for ‘”this economy work for everybody.” He was then asked again to answer the question.
“I would support a tax rate and a tax code that’s fair to everyone,” Beto replied.
