Egypt faces an historic vote Wednesday, the first free presidential vote since the toppling of former President Hosni Mubarak from power last year.

Mubarak's thirty-year rule was brought to an end by a wave of protests focused in Tahrir Square in Cairo last year, but Egypt's next leader is likely to be decided by voters outside the capitol.
