According to "Good Morning America's" George Stephanopoulos on January 17th, it would be "impossible" for a non-Romney candidate to win the nomination if the former Massachusetts governor wins the South Carolina primary. However, even if Romney won all 25 South Carolina delegates, he would still be 1119 shy of the amount needed to clinch the nomination.
