I'm a Loudoun County Mom, and LCPS's 'Inclusive' Bathroom Policies Are Dangerous and Cowardly

The Loudoun County School Board, which oversees one of Virginia's largest school districts with more than 80,000 students, recently voted not to sign the U.S. Department of Education's resolution to restrict bathrooms and locker rooms to biological gender - meaning they'll continue to allow boys to use girls' facilities and vice versa based on their "gender identity." They claim this policy promotes "safety" and "respect" for "all students."

This is the same school district that recently got caught - and sued - for covering up not one, but two sexual assaults in girls' bathrooms by a biological male wearing a dress. This is the same school district that is being investigated by the Virginia Attorney General for charging three 15-year-old boys with harassment because they dared to say they were uncomfortable with a girl using their locker rooms while they were changing clothes.

So I just have one question - how is this safe and inclusive, again?
