Ever since the election of President Donald Trump, celebrities have been jumping at every opportunity to take a shot at him. During Sunday's Emmy's Award Show, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin decided to chime in.

What was supposed to be a reunion of the stars from the 1980's film 9 to 5 turned into a politically-charged jab that left Hollywood fawning. Just take a look at the video above.

"Yeah, well back in 1980, in that movie, we refused to be controlled by  a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot," Fonda said in reference to her movie with Tomlin and Dolly Parton.

"And in 2017 we still refuse to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot," Tomlin chimed in.

With her eyes widened in reaction, it's hard to tell if Parton was in on the obviously planned remarks.

These days, the political attacks seem to be more fueled by how popular a Trump slam will make you and less about principled positions.

The actresses gave no examples on how Trump was "controlling" them. Must be his tax plan.
