NBC’s Chuck Todd, hosting Meet the Press, on Sunday took on the Republican plan to roll back the Biden administration’s quest to hire thousands of additional IRS agents. “I have never understood the resistance of extra IRA agents, unless you knowingly cheat on your taxes.” His guest, Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida rejected the premise: “That’s salacious and you know that.”
