The idea that the late night comedy shows aren’t actually that funny has been discussed at length, but even by their own standard, Wednesday’s interview featuring The Daily Show’s host-of-the-week Michael Kosta and actress Ms. Pat about her BET+ sitcom was so painfully unfunny that Comedy Central might need to change its name. According to Ms. Pat, the United States is “nobody’s country,” especially not "small-pecker white men," and it would rather have a “dumbass white man” as president than “an intelligent ass black woman.”
Kosta introduced Ms. Pat by playing a clip of her Ms. Pat Show. In the clip, she rants at a Secret Service agent, “Look, agent officer, hell no, I didn't vote for your boss ‘cause you know why? This country is so [bleep] up, y'all would rather have a dumbass white man in the office instead of having an intelligent ass black woman! Which is [bleep] u! Your boss wears Pampers and he is a crying ass bitch! And I don't vote for crying ass bitches in Pampers!”
There’s not even an attempt at cleverness there. It’s just a leftist actor ranting in the hope of finding catharsis in a TV show.
