Obama’s ‘Investment’ Proposals Remind Republicans of Failed Stimulus Spending

President Barack Obama called for increased spending, or “investments” in infrastructure and alternative energy -- part of his “winning the future” theme in Tuesday’s State of the Union speech. But Republicans said such expenditures amount to a second stimulus act.
