PBS News Hour Punches up the Bias in Report on Homelessness Reform in Cali

Tuesday’s PBS News Hour show intro set the tone on an upcoming segment on California finally taking action to stop intrusive and unsightly and dangerous homeless encampments infesting his liberal state, with co-host Amna Nawaz talking of “California`s controversial crackdown on homeless encampments” before a clip of a UCLA scholar saying “criminalizing homelessness” will just make things worse.

Perhaps PBS felt the need to tilt the trappings around the segment (which in itself was less biased) to the left – its twisted idea of balance? Both the above intro and the online headline featured only the liberal argument: “California’s homeless encampment crackdown draws criticism from health experts.”
