A 3rd grade homework assignment at Beaver Ridge Elementary School contains math problems on slaves and beatings.
Parents are "insulted" about these problems included for the sake of a "cross-curricular activity." The district spokesperson, Sloan Roach, states, "this is simply a case of creating a bad question."
