“I had a mid-life identity crisis once Trump won the election,” comedian Chelsea Handler conceded on Bill Maher’s April 5 HBO show, so “I had to pay a psychiatrist to listen to me bitch about Donald Trump.” She recalled how “my brother died when I was 9 years old” and, like with Trump, “it was a huge emotional trigger of everything being destabilized.” Trump spurred “outrage and the anger” in her so “I just wanted to fucking fight people.”
Handler, who had shows on E! and Netflix, made her appearance in order to promote an upcoming comedy show tour and her new book, Life Will Be the Death of Me:...and you too!
