WH Says Pressuring Gulf States on Human Rights Wouldn't Cause Them to ‘Embrace Different Political Systems’

The Obama administration does talk to Gulf states about human rights concerns, but applying pressure on them to reform would not necessarily “lead these countries to embrace different political systems,” deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes said Thursday.  “They clearly have a different view of how to organize their society.”
