The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg on Thursday pounced on the usually liberal comedian Bill Maher who dared to criticize those on the left who want statutes of Abraham Lincoln removed. He charged woke advocates “love diversity except of ideas,” asking, “really, Lincoln isn’t good enough for you?”
Goldberg asserted: “Well, that statue was not good enough. Because it showed a slave down at Lincoln’s feet. And if we’re tearing down statues that are really not in tune with where we are as a nation, or at least where we were a couple months ago, yeah, you got to take it down.”
