Without a Vote, UN Body Hands Saudi Arabia a Seat on Agency For Women

U.N. diplomats in New York on Monday filled dozens of leadership positions across a range of U.N. bodies, with many going, without a vote, to some of the world’s repressive regimes. Saudi Arabia was handed a seat on the executive board of the women’s empowerment agency, U.N. Women.
