John Hirschauer is an intern in the MRC's News Analysis Division. In addition to being published in The New York Times and Hartford Courant, he is a weekly columnist for the student-run Fairfield Mirror. John's work has been featured on The Rush Limbaugh Show. His work as a public speaker has yielded appearances as a correspondent on the internationally broadcasted News 7 Tamil and as a moderator at Fairfield’s Quick Center for the Arts. John is a rising senior at Fairfield University studying economics with a minor in mathematics. He is originally from Southbury, Connecticut, where he is a member of the Southbury Training School Home and School Association, a legislative advocacy group for a state institution for the developmentally disabled located down the road from his home.
