Leave it to Hollywood to make having an abortion seem like such a lighthearted moment that’s worth sharing giggles with your best girlfriend over while bonding over the memory of it as if you were reminiscing about fun dates you’ve been on or favorite drinks the two of you have shared together instead of ending the life of an unborn child.

Just last week, ABC’s "Station 19" tried to make viewers sympathize with ob/gyn Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) as she complained she has “no happy place left” because “women’s bodies are held hostage by the government.” Instead of wearing pink scrubs to work like she usually does, she’s now forced to wear black ones in protest of Roe being overturned. Cue the tiny violins.

On Thursday’s episode, “Dancing with Our Hands Tied,” Carina was back to smiling as she and her friend Vic (Barrett Doss) joked about Carina ending the life of Vic's baby as the two wait for pregnancy test results to see if a new life is growing inside of Carina:

VicIs it weird that we're doing this? Seven months ago, you -- I mean, you gave me an abortion.

Carina: Ah.

Vic: So. I'm just saying, is this our thing now?

Carina: Oh, God, I hope it's not our thing.

Vic: So, what are you hoping for?

Carina: Maya has mental-health issues. That's what I think. And I have lived a lot of my life with people who have mental-health issues, and I am good at it. But the thing that happens when you're in a relationship with somebody with mental-health issues is that you don't matter. Your fear, your needs, your problems -- They don't matter.

Vic: Well, mental illnesses don't make you inherently selfish. But I don't know. It is selfish if Maya's refusing to do anything about it. It shouldn't be like that.

Carina: I know. It shouldn't be. But it is like that right now. And it doesn't have to be if she recognizes she has issues and she gets help. And that's why I'm staying, because -- Oh, my God -- I'm so in love with her. But I want her back the way she was. I want us back the way we were. And so, I'm waiting. But it's hard. Because I want to matter. What does it say?

Vic: Okay, you know what? Hold on. Just don't look. Just say it. What do you want? No second guesses. Just what do you want?

Carina: I want a positive. I want a positive. I want a baby. I want to be a mom. But I want my wife to be here with me. I want her to be committed and involved. I don't want to do this alone.

Vic: Okay. Cool.

Carina: What are you doing?

Vic: Well, like you said, it's probably too early anyway. But now you know what you want. And what you want is for your wife to be standing beside you the moment you find out you're gonna have a baby. Right? So, we're not gonna look.

Carina: We're not gonna look?

Vic: I don't know. I'm not the boss of you. But I am a good listener, and I think we should leave it in the trash. And you need to go fight for what you want.

Carina: Yeah. Thank you.

Vic: Yeah.

CarinaThis is our thing.

VicThis is our thing. Yeah.

If you ever wondered just how low Hollywood can go, here’s your answer - disgustingly low. Who giggles over giving someone an abortion? Worse, who giggles about having received it? Both as they’re waiting to see if a new life is growing in the abortionist’s womb. And that’s supposed to be “their thing” now? How absolutely depraved and twisted.

Did they really foresee viewers at home having a laugh over this scene or feeling the warm fuzzies as they bond over ending human life while waiting to see if a new one has begun? If this is supposed to make people want to vote a certain way in the upcoming midterms, I have a feeling their propaganda is going to backfire on them this time.
