An 18-year-old woman who believes she’s a man was arrested Thursday after writing a lengthy manifesto threatening to shoot up two schools in Montgomery County.

Using “he” pronouns, local media outlets report that Andrea Ye, an area high school student who goes by “Alex,” was nabbed by police after the FBI alerted them to a 129-page document Ye had authored detailing how she wanted to carry out mass shootings at two area schools. Police obtained a search warrant and found “internet searches, drawings and documents related to threats of mass violence,” according to a press release from the Montgomery County police department, which also incorrectly refers to Ye using male pronouns.

Police said that in her manifesto, “Ye writes about committing a school shooting, and strategizes how to carry out the act. Ye also contemplates targeting an elementary school and says that he wants to be famous.”

The would-be-shooter was arrested and charged with threats of mass violence, and is now awaiting a bond hearing.

It’s hardly the first time an unhinged “trans” person has leveled violence against innocent people, including children. In 2023, a 28-year-old woman who “identified” as male shot and killed three nine-year-old children and three adults at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. Like Ye, the shooter had also written a manifesto expressing why she targeted an elementary school full of innocent children. That document has not been publicly released, though parts of it were leaked and later verified, including admissions by the killer that she hoped she had a high kill count while rambling angry about "little f***ers w/ your white privlages [sic]."

You can expect this latest story to go largely ignored by the national media.
