Jason Aldean isn't the only country singer defending his new hit single "Try That In a Small Town" after liberals labeled it "racist" and "violent." Brantley Gilbert, who rose to fame on singles like "Bottoms Up" and "Country Must Be Country Wide," came out in defense of his fellow country music artist during a concert this weekend where he alleged part of the problem with the snowflake generation is that "people don't get punched in the face anymore."
"There’s a lot happening in our society these days that I don’t much understand and don’t much give a shit to,” Gilbert said, as the crowd roared.
"One of my many pet peeves is that we live in a society nowadays when people don’t get punched in the face anymore,” he went on. “Just a bunch of keyboard warriors hiding behind cell phones and laptops.”

"So I got mad as hell the other night about this Aldean thing. Thought I was gonna tweet something or something. Then I realized that I don’t have the password for any of my social media," he joked.

Conservatives and country music fans have come out in strong support of Aldean and his new hit song, “Try That In a Small Town,” an anthem that rails against violent protests and rampant crime that's swept city streets across America in recent years. Anti-gun leftists and Black Lives Matter supporters have accused the country star of promoting racism and violence with his lyrics and the imagery used in the music video, which featured footage from BLM riots while warning looters and criminals not to bring their hate and anger into small towns filled with “good ol’ boys” who won’t just roll over and take it.
At his own concert this weekend, Aldean refused to cave to the woke mob, telling his audience, “I love our country. I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this bullshit started happening to us...I love my country. I love my family. And I will do anything to protect that – I can tell you that right now.”
