EPA Warns of Negative Environmental Impact of The Sun

The Environmental Protection Agency has found a new enemy in its ongoing war on sanity. The sun. Yes, that giant ball of fire in the sky that is responsible for our very existence. Yesterday afternoon, the EPA lashed out at the sun in a Tweet, reminding us that while the sun may SEEM like a net positive, the star is actually an environmental hazard that is killing plants and trees.

The article attached to the Tweet seems to have been removed from the EPA website as of this writing. But this new revelation obviously poses a conundrum for the governmental agency which has long touted the benefits of solar power as an energy efficient weapon against climate change. It is unclear what the next move will be for the Obama administration's newly declared war on sunlight. Perhaps they will take a lesson from Simpson's antagonist, C. Montgomery Burns, and make an effort to block the sun out completely. I think we can all agree that if even one tree is saved from this environmental menace, then the effort will have totally been worth it.
