In the immediate aftermath of the announcement of the grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson, Michael Brown’s stepfather, Louis Head, was caught on camera encouraging the crowd gathered in front of the Ferguson Courthouse to “Burn this bitch down."
Head's incindiary comments begin at the 3:20 mark of a nearly five minute video posted on YouTube.
Brown’s biological father had called for peaceful protests in the days leading up to the verdict, however violence erupted in Ferguson after the decision not to indict was announced.
