If history has taught us anything, you don’t mess with the “little old lady from Pasadena.” Okay, this woman isn’t from Pasadena, but you’ll get what I’m talking about when you hear about this next one.
A 79-year-old Georgia woman tried to warn an intruder repeatedly attempting to burglarize her home in February. The 911 emergency call was released, and the audio tells the story of how the woman warned 20-year-old Hans Edward Rogers that she’s “got something for you” if he entered her residence.
“Okay, come on! I got something for you!” the woman could be heard yelling, supposedly at the suspect, before a gunshot could be heard being fired.
According to KDVR:
While officers were on route the woman shot the man at least two times while she was waiting in the kitchen on the phone with the 911 dispatcher[…]
When deputies arrived they found a 20-year-old male hiding in the closet. He was later identified as Hans Edward Rogers was taken into custody and charged with burglary and home invasion.
Investigators state that Rogers was driving his mother’s car along Georgia Highway 82 Spur on Interstate 85 in Jackson County when the car ran out of gas. He left the car on the road and helped himself into the woman’s house located on the 5800 block of Highway 82 Spur just before midnight.
This is just another case of the Second Amendment working its magic one more time.
