Nevin Shapiro, a booster for the team, has said over the course of 8 years he gave gifts to 72 current and former Hurricane players. He also said six coaches also knew of the gifts. The NCAA is investigating.

BART, Bay Area Rapid Transit, serves the Bay Area in San Francisco. On Thursday BART turned off cell phone service on the trains outraging riders. Anonymous then hacked into the computers and posted a list of riders on its site including their address and phone numbers. Another protest is scheduled for today at 5 pm PST. The protests are in response to the July 3 shooting by BART police officer.

A blimp broke away from the airport during a storm and crash landed two miles away. No injuries were reported and the blimp was unmanned.
