It’s April 1, so you know what that means! And MSNBC’s ReidOut host Joy Reid didn’t disappoint on Friday night as she sat down for an exclusive interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. While there were some decent questions at the top of the show, things quickly devolved into trying to get Harris to give credence to some of the left’s wild conspiracy theories including a suggestion that the 2024 presidential election would be messed with.
Reid did begin with a lucid and fair question about how bad it is that presidential candidates skip over non-swing states. But she would eventually hit Harris with this conspiratorial nonsense: “Are you concerned that the 2024 election will face the same kind of interference? Are you concerned that our democracy won't hold if there’s no accountability?”
In the same vein as that one, Reid brought up Ginni Thomas and targeted her Supreme Court justice husband, Clarence Thomas with the idea that not only should he “recuse himself from any cases related to January 6” but also “future elections” case no matter what.
