On PBS’s Friday edition of Amanpour and Company, guest host Bianna Golodryga didn’t bother to even pretend to care about journalistic standards as she interviewed the ACLU’s Chase Strangio about President Trump and red states allegedly “vilifying” transgender people.
Golodryga kicked off the show by proclaiming, “Donald Trump came back into office nearly a year ago, determined to change the face of America and doing a slew of Biden's policies and approaches to issues, including trans rights. The U.S. president has made no secret of his lack of sympathy for trans people, vilifying the small population and calling into question their very existence.”
She then played a clip of Trump on December 9 characterizing the left’s approach to the issue, “Transgender for all is a great, great thing for the Democrats to be talking about. Transgender for every member in your family, if they're not feeling well that night, let's just change their sex.”
