CBS Evening News host Maurice DuBois and chief Washington analyst Robert Costa collectively mourned on Friday that there does not appear to be any internal White House dissent over the decision to indict former FBI Director James Comey. For Costa in particular, the mood could be described as “shatter norms and carry on.”

DuBois began by asking, “Robert, we know the president has celebrated this indictment. Anybody inside the White House unhappy with this or actually pushing back that you know of?”

Costa started by noticing how times have changed, “Well, based on conversations today with people close to President Trump, there's actually little to no consternation about the indictment. This is not the Trump White House of 2017, where you did have factions battling over whether he was going too far.”
