Over the weekend, former President Trump went on his social media site to claim that he would be arrested on Tuesday, March 21, but the day came and went with no sign or movement against him. This annoyed the cast of ABC’s The View on Wednesday, as they whined about being duped and getting their hopes up to see him in cuffs and his mug shot.
“And I want to start this with this update. You-know-who is still at large,” Whoopi Goldberg begrudgingly announced near the top of the show.
Racist co-host Sunny Hostin snarked that “he hasn't been arrested like he predicted,” while Goldberg opined about how he’s been wrong about other claims such as the results of the 2020 election.
