The move by a Twitter employee last week to ban President Trump from the social media platform for 11 minutes received a great deal of attention and offered people a glimpse into how easily someone at Twitter can stop the flow of information from a source he does not like. What did not get a great deal of attention, however, was the fact that Twitter’s Acting General Counsel, Sean Edgett,…

Halloween 2017 has come and gone, but not only has the day shown people engaging in the time-tested practice of voluntary charity that CBS anger-machine Stephen Colbert mistakes for “socialism,” it’s offered another “treat” to carry with us into November. Just days ago, Americans had the chance to discover that the “Russia Dossier” created by political hack-o-rama Fusion GPS, handed by Arizona…

For those who like political circuses, the Bill and Hillary Clinton Roadshow has provided more than three rings. From the Mena Airport drug-running allegations, to accusations of predatory sexual behavior and cover-ups, to shady-looking stock and land deals, to the closure of rich anthracite land in the U.S. that gave a foreign corporation the balance of power in that field, the Clintons have…

In its never-ending march towards the socialized health system cliff, the British National Health System (NHS) now plans to force doctors to ask all patients over the age of 16 about their sexual orientation – for "sexual orientation monitoring" to keep up with legal duties under the UK's equality regulations. Have you ever seen the American vestigial tail? It was a spine-like thing composed of the Bill of Rights, freedom of association, and economic liberty that, through the years, has been made less and less powerful thanks to political surgery. With the election of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, lots of folks hoped that the federal government would pull back from its encroachments on our…

The governments of California and Connecticut have just declared, with great sound and fury, that their tax-paid attorneys will sue the Trump administration for -- get this -- leaving a few people alone. Shortly after the President announced last Friday that he would not enforce portions of the so-called “Affordable Care Act” (ACA) mandating business-provided insurance with contraceptive …

Imagine this scenario: You’re in the wilderness. Free. Minding your own business. You are walking along a path that you and some neighbors explicitly agreed to create to give you easy access to each other. Suddenly, a group of highwaymen approach to block your path, demanding that you pay them. They tell you they are going to maintain this road now, and create new ones by seizing property,…

The third quarter of 2017 is upon us, and this might be a good time to look across the so-called “Land of The Free” and see some of the new oppressive, needless, and outright stupid laws our overlords have decided to impose upon us. This allows us to tell our neighbors about some of the ways politicians are trying to attenuate their liberties, which is important… But since politics can be a…

(Photo: MB298) On Friday, September 15, the Associated Press reported on a fascinating new wrinkle in the centuries-old face of unconstitutional federal activity, and the details might surprise many who are concerned about the sticky issue of “immigration”. According to the report, Federal District Judge Harry Leinenweber just ruled that Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Justice…
