A recently proposed bill in New Hampshire would prohibit illegal aliens who carry out-of-state driver’s licenses from driving on the state's roads – a proposal that might appeal to many legal residents of the “Granite State,” and helps expose a multi-year left-wing strategy to add voters to the Massachusetts rolls. It's also one that easily could be shot down in any Constitution-recognizing…

The increasing heat between state governments and the feds may be reaching a virtual boiling point, as the Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Friday added a supplemental filing to the Administration’s days-old request for the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to “reinstate” federal control over the southern Texas border with Mexico. Thomas Stevenson writes for the Post…

After engaging in what many viewed as an embarrassing display of hubris in her attempt last fall to issue “Executive Orders” attacking the right to keep and bear arms and ammunition, New Mexico's Democrat governor backed off the orders - but her hubris seems to remain, as last week she fought for the EO move in the New Mexico Supreme Court and engaged in another bold attack. Michelle Lujan…

If the simultaneous World Health Organization (WHO) schemes to “revise” existing “pandemic rules” while also shaping the so-called “pandemic treaty” which won’t be a treaty, but likely will be adopted, bit by bit, in the U.S., to further attack our rights and break the U.S. Constitution aren’t sufficiently alarming… If the continuing WHO push of abortion were not angering enough… If its members…

The year 2024 is only two weeks old, and already, among the terrible world news, we have been dealt another tragic blow. On Saturday, January 13, beloved lurcher, and lurker hiding behind fake stats and sophistic claims of environmental enlightenment, “Climate Czar” John Kerry announced he is vacating the auspicious post he has been using to save the planet. So many tears, one wonders if…

Sometimes the natural reaction to absurd political fabulism is amusement. After repeated exposure to the fabulist, one might feel bemusement. After more exposure, one might find it impossible to maintain even that critical level of positivity, and the tides of frustration, resentment, and righteous indignation sweep in. Thus, given the numerous times Biden “Energy Secretary,” and former…

Perhaps inspired by his Department of Energy Head (DOE) Jennifer Granholm, who pocketed almost $2 million in stock options given to her by an “electric vehicle” bus company that she helped get fed money (i.e. OUR tax cash) when she was Governor of Michigan (and which filed for bankruptcy, shortly after she got to sell her stock), a new report reveals that the DOE’s so-called “Energy Loan Czar” is…

After dragging her through legal mazes for nearly a decade, a federal district judge has demanded that a Kentucky county clerk who denied “marriage licenses” to same-sex couples now pay a massive fee, atop “damages” already thrown at her by a jury in September. It’s a battle that, at first blush, goes back to 2015, but it actually has deeper roots, roots that dig all the way back to the…

In the span of four days, “over 800 people (have) given more than $56,000 to an online site raising funds” for an Upper Leacock Township, PA, farmer who, for the second time in just two years, has seen state “officials” enter his property and foist on him legal burdens that will cost him earnings and time, put his business in jeopardy, and burden his willing customers. It's an unfolding…

Fighting for freedom can seem like a lonely endeavor. But many of us often receive great reminders of just how many good people also are working with us in the proverbial “trenches”, and, over the past two months, we most definitely have. In November, the free-market team at the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) released a devastating new edition of its annual “Ten Thousand Commandments”…
