A year after the transcripts of two infamous interviews between then-President Joe Biden and Special Counsel Robert Hur were released, and nine days after a May 7 Politico report revealing that audio of the exchanges would be made public, Axios has published the recordings, and they confirm what most of us already knew: Biden was – and is – suffering from major cognitive impairment. At the…

Given a week for word to spread, the Trump Administration's May 9 announcement of what was headlined as a rollback of “water pressure standards” (i.e. mandates) on appliance-makers is beginning to reveal itself to many Americans as what it is: a wider withdrawal of many onerous so-called “standards” that increased costs to makers and buyers, restricted choice, assumed bureaucrats know better…

On May 9, 2025, Donald Trump announced a proclamation to reopen 4,913 square miles of Atlantic Ocean off New England’s coast to commercial fishing, overturning restrictions imposed by the Obama-Biden regime. The area, dubbed the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument, and initially locked down in 2016 by Barack Obama, is located 130 miles southeast of Cape Cod, and encompass…

In a galling display of statism run amok, New York City has demanded that two Brooklyn landlords pay $160,000 to “relocate” squatters who illegally commandeered their properties. You read that correctly. The tax-thieving city government is demanding that the legitimate property owners pay to relocate the people who trespassed and took over THEIR property. Kathianne Boniello reports for the…

In a move that could reverberate through the shaky edifice of America’s fiat currency system, Florida’s legislature has passed House Bill 999, a bold step to recognize gold and silver as legal tender for the payment of debts. With near-unanimous support—passing the House 114-1 and the Senate without a single dissent—the bill now awaits the signature of Governor Ron DeSantis, who has signaled his…

From the early days of the U.S. military’s unconstitutional occupation of Afghanistan, when Geraldo Rivera reported on the ground about the U.S. government protecting the local poppy crop – a move that increased the Afghani exports of opiates and ran counter to the vaunted (also unconstitutional) federal so-called “War on Drugs” – to the Biden administration’s chaotic 2021 withdrawal that left…

If your Spring Clean-Up needs something extra to fill the rubbish bin, this news might offer two items to consider. It’s a tale of federal largess, and a tale of missing the point in telling the tale. With compliments to the Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak for exposing the absurdly expensive federal program, one next can, perhaps, nudge him for neglecting to study the heart of the matter.…

In a series of moves that can teach Americans a great deal about how omnivorous and all-controlling the federal government has become, the Trump Administration just flipped the Obama-Biden narrative, and fast-tracked the “permitting process” for domestic mineral mining projects. Trump supporters herald the move as a bold counterpunch to China’s government tightening critical mineral exports, but…

In a trio of rulings that can teach Americans a lot about the U.S. Constitution, federal judges in Maryland, New Hampshire, and Washington, DC, temporarily have blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to curb so-called Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs in K-12 schools by threatening to withhold federal funding. These decisions, handed down on April 24, 2025, expose not only…
