Frustrated readers will be forgiven for thinking certain members of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) acted like children February 28 when the justices heard oral arguments over the so-called “Bump-stock Ban.” The case is entitled, Garland v Cargill and it not only hints that numerous members of the Supreme Court either can’t or don’t want to read the Constitution, it indicates…

One might be bewildered to discover that some principled defenders of the right to keep and bear arms are supporting a Georgia bill that ostensibly puts state power behind that right to self-defense, but which actually undercuts other fundamental rights. Bearing Arms’ Cam Edwards reports on the status of the Georgia legislation: “Under HB 1364, introduced by Rep. Martin Momtahan, property…

When it comes to the impending, ever-growing, list of diktats and edicts and threats Washington politicians and bureaucrats throw at us, perhaps you, like many here at MRCTV, feel a bit like Cassandra. She was the mythological Trojan lady who was cursed by Apollo to see what was coming in the future, while being unable to get people to stop the impending trouble. The myth was woven into 20th…

There’s something titanically ironic – or, more aptly described as hypocritical – in the left-dominated Federal Communications Commission (FCC) demanding that “licensed” broadcasters provide said “Commissars” with detailed information about the woke-or-not compositions of their office staffs. Even if one overlooks the blindingly obvious breach of the First Amendment and of the constitutionally…

There’s a lot to appreciate when contributing to MRCTV’s ongoing coverage of the train wreck that is the absurd “reparations” movement, and, specifically, coverage of the California government’s attempt to take money from living people who didn’t harm anyone and give it to living people they didn’t harm.  It's more than just the cartoonish absurdity of the strange, pander-meets-pretend…

After being doxed and targeted by leftist Washington Post writer Taylor Lorenz, conservative Libs of TikTok founder and operator Chaya Raichik Saturday got an opportunity to “sit down” with her gaslighting attacker for a recorded chat, and with logical, admirable, confident ease, shredded the flimsy tapestry of ignorance, lies, deflections, and self-deception Lorenz and her current publishers (…

The downward spiral of electric vehicle sales is not limited to the US, but many of the political shills pushing EVs seem less inclined to admit the market truth than they are to shift blame onto those who have expressed realistic criticism. As we reported in December, despite countless federal subsidies handed to electric vehicle interests, despite what seem to be endless political appearances…

Marching more in line with the fascist forces that invaded that nation during World War II, the French National Assembly Wednesday, February 14, approved a measure that seems almost unbelievable. In fact, initial X and Reddit posts about the shocking development might have inspired heightened skepticism on the part of users, but further investigation confirms their veracity. Thomas Oysmüller on…

If Americans thought that John Podesta’s anti-freedom career – ranging from his ties to the 1972 presidential campaign of leftist George McGovern, to his work with brother, Tony, co-founding of a leftist DC lobbying firm, to his work as Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff, to his “chairmanship” of the Hillary Clinton presidential run, to his founding of the leftist, government-connected, smear-…

Cynicism on the part of a proponent need not be the primary reason that a superficially good-looking, hot-button political proposal doesn’t get to the principle-based root of the matter. Sometimes, the proponent simply might lack an understanding of the deeper principle, or he might be incapable of grasping it. Such are the possibilities when studying the recent move by Congressman Dan Crenshaw…
