It ought to be evident that one need not come down on any of the multi-sided immigration “debates” to acknowledge that it is immoral and unethical to take money from some people in order to facilitate the preferred move and resettlement of another. The taking is the wrong, regardless of whether some politician says the intent is noble, and regardless of whether the recipient is a “…

There’s something remarkable about the affrontery of politicians who not only promote themselves in cheesy photo-ops, but who burn tax cash while doing it. There’s something even more remarkable about politicians who would prefer that people overlook the fact that the photo was taken at what became a political crime scene. That’s the latest in the ever-unfolding origami of Minnesota…

Continuing its war on the US Constitution, domestic energy suppliers, Native American Tribes, and American consumers, on August 28 the Biden Administration reversed a Trump Administration promise to allow energy exploration and recovery on 28 million acres of land in Alaska. Land in Alaska that, in 1971, the feds promised to give back, for control by more than 200 native tribal corporations…

It might be difficult to decide which is more offensive: the fact that a law school dean can be either so toweringly ignorant, or so dismissive, of Natural Rights that he can spout this drivel, the fact that the dean’s salary is tax subsidized, the fact that he can get a publishing contract to spread this curdled-cream collectivism, or that he can get such a receptive audience on the…

Years-old, fully grown normalcy bias is a tricky animal, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D) latest smorgasbord of socialist sobriquets in favor of California housing loans for “undocumented migrants” is a perfect example. Appearing Friday with Bill Maher on his HBO program “Real Time,” Pelosi succeeded in not only avoiding the touchy matter of her role in perpetuating the centrally…

As if the garish, hypocrisy-filled circus of the Democrat National Convention didn’t offer enough obnoxious, whopper-filled moments to bruise the brain, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo sat down with ABC News to deliver another facet to the socialist spectacle - first claiming that the revelations of 15 months of falsely rosy employment data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) came from the…

Taxation and money-printing are the fuels that feed the government beast. Money-printing causes the hidden tax of lost buying power for all the monetary units; it inspires malinvestments, and leads to the boom-bust cycle so well explained by the Austrian School of Economics. But, often, the majority of the population don’t recognize the malfeasance while the government and central bank are…

In addition to his offensive attacks on freedom of association during his unconstitutional COVID Lockdowns in Minnesota, in addition to his offensive adulation for censorship of speech he doesn’t like, and added to his extant padding of his military record, charming Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) is being cited for more apparent deceit about his own life. Eliana Johnson reports for The…

The tide of censorship, Orwellian word-wrangling, and prosecution for speech or peaceful behavior has been rising in the United Kingdom for years. From Scottish comedian and YouTuber Count Dankula being legally targeted in 2018 for creating a spoof of Adolf Hitler, to the British government prosecuting a retired scientist for holding a sign that offered conversation to people outside an abortion…

In April of 2022, I reported for MRCTV on the leftist push for the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), a soft-titled censorship move that well-known privacy and speech hypocrite Hillary Clinton praised, which recently, as EU “law,” was referenced to threaten Elon Musk over his interview with Donald Trump, and which runs parallel to the machinations of the C2PA (Coalition for Content…
