If one were to draw a Venn Diagram, the circle representing Americans who protest the immoral and Constitution-insulting National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) forced onto gun buyers and “Federal Firearms Licensed” gun shops (FFL) likely would be congruent with the circle representing Americans who rightly decry the equally immoral and Constitution-insulting federal mandate that…

Following the June 2022 Supreme Court ruling in the “NY State Rifle Association, Inc v Bruen” case, in which the majority on the court affirmed the right to conceal carry outside the home, but, inversely, claimed that this right could be attenuated by states to restrict gun-carrying in places the politicians deem “sensitive” (the words “arbitrary” and “unconstitutional” come to mind), many…

In case any of your friends either were unaware of, or jaded to, the vast political corruption tied to titanic crypto exchange FTX’s collapse, new court filings now offer an infuriating wake-up call. Business Insider’s Pete Syme reports that in the FTX bankruptcy case working through U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware, the legal team for the now-defunct-formerly-adored-by-…

Put this on the “Feeling Arrogant, Entitled, and Thin-Skinned” highlight reel, and subtitle it: “Fascism on Parade.” And California Congressman Adam Schiff (D), once more, is the star. In a revelation demanding consistency from leftists who appeared obsessed with reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) last year raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago and recovered what pop media stressed were, in some cases, classified documents, CBS News reports that classified Obama-era government documents recently were removed from a private office Biden used when Vice President.…

A few prerequisites. First, government “bans” don’t stop demand. They fuel a criminal black market. Second. The U.S. Constitution not only does not give the feds any power to ban ANYTHING, the Second Amendment strictly forbids any level of government from infringing on the right to keep and bear arms. Third. All judges, on all levels, swear oaths to protect and defend the U.S.…

Once upon a time, one had to watch “The Wonderful World of Disney,” or, more recently, “Game of Thrones” to gaze at fantasy, but viewers of the Jan 6 edition of Fox News’ “The Story, with Martha MacCallum” were treated to the pixel-pixie dust of Ms. MacCallum trying to have a sensible conversation with a man who clearly is disconnected from economic reality. His name is Jared Bernstein…

Do you remember the “You Make the Call” TV commercials? They were the ones in which you, the viewer, were shown some football replay, and got to guess what the ref said about it. Well, it appears DC Comics just disgorged a product that might prompt you to “make the call” of a different sort. This pertains to the question of whether their writers, artists, and board-room decision-makers made…

A story such as this is charged with the potential for puns, but, at its heart, it’s not amusing – more akin to a black hole down which bureaucrats, politicians, and corporate cronies want to pour your choices and hard-earned cash. RealClearScience’s Ross Pomeroy reports that – to no one's surprise – electric vehicles aren’t a very good idea if you want to be mobile in a cold climate. He notes…
