The proverbial “other shoe” has dropped in an ongoing struggle for religious freedom and private property in New York, a story on which I reported September 19 that now reveals precisely the problem of government invading the private sphere. Just three days ago, I had the opportunity to dissect the 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court that denied Yeshiva University’s request for an emergency…

Following-up our September 12 MRCTV report on credit card issuers VISA, MasterCard, and American Express buckling under pressure from public sector, political forces to adopt new “sales codes” for purchases made at gun shops, the Attorneys General of Montana and Tennessee are leading a total of 24 state Attorneys General to warn the CEOs of the corporate giants against the move. As TN Attorney…

Evidently satisfied with his vast share of political COVID19 lockdown hypocrisy, California Governor Gavin Newsom Friday signed six bills he and his media preachers have promoted as great weapons in the battle against bogeyman “Anthropogenic Climate Change.” None of the moves respects or even acknowledges individual liberty, property rights, or market choice. Not one of the bills increases…

In a ruling that exhibits two major salient court features, and reveals a more important third feature emerging from a study of the two, the majority of Justices sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States decided on September 14 to force top administrators of the New York City-based, Orthodox Jewish Yeshiva University to return to state-level courts and reargue for their right to not…

Hot on the heels of giant shipper FedEx indicating that the machinations of big-government politicians are ushering in very dark times for the U.S. economy comes more troubling news for leftists: another corporate giant is acknowledging that Chicago's - and Illinois' - anti-gun, anti-Natural Law mentality and message are threatening their businesses. Heather Haddon reports for The Wall Street…

Known by many conservatives and libertarians as “Associated Propagandists,” the Associated Press (AP) for many years has been “hit-or-miss” when it comes to journalistic fairness. Monday, I noted the good work of the AP’s Ken Sweet, who uncovered the fact that one of the most vocal boosters of a new plan by VISA, MasterCard, and American Express to apply special sales codes to gun store…

Does it fit well in the brain to hope that, if one is going to be a hypocrite, he or she at least should try to be consistently hypocritical? Evidently, it does in the brain-box of John Kerry, the former U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, former U.S. Secretary of State, and the man who now services his ego and fuels our fire by leapfrogging all over the planet to deride our choice of fuels and…

With the vigor and focus of a much younger man, 73-year-old Prince Charles Philip Arthur George Windsor took the monarchical throne of Great Britain vacated by his deceased mother, Elizabeth II, upon her death on Thursday, September 8. He fills the seat (technically ruling over England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada and Australia) as the oldest installed king in English history, and…

In a move that might concern many supporters of the right to keep and bear arms -- especially those familiar with the growing trend of mega-corporations and mega-banks to follow the collectivist political agenda of ESG (“Environmental-Social-Governance”) -- credit card issuers MasterCard, American Express, and, finally, VISA, over the weekend announced that they will begin recording gun…
