Appearing on the February 6 edition of FNC's Hannity, MRC President Brent Bozell said the evidence was building that Brian Williams had lied about multiple aspects of his claim to have been in a helicopter shot by an RPG during the Iraq war in 2003, and he agreed that Hillary Clinton needs to be questioned about her 2008 lie about facing sniper fire in Bosnia.

On the March 26, 2003 edition of Dateline, NBC's Brian Williams recounted how a helicopter that was part of a U.S. mission in Iraq was shot by an RPG fired by Iraqis in civilian clothes. When Williams told the same story in 2015, he falsely placed himself in the chopper that was hit, something for which he later apologized after soldiers complained.
