After viewing the clip of conservative comedian Stephen Crowder being punched by union thugs, liberal pundit Bob Beckel defended the union mobs by pointing to the past violence suffered by union members decades ago. Republicans in the House have released a new counteroffer. Few details have been given to the media, but sources have stated that the offer includes new revenues and entitlement reform. NBC sportscaster Bob Costas appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight for an anti-gun jam session with the CNN host. Morgan urged President Obama to practice "moral leadership" and increase gun control.
