President Obama told Republicans to go after him on the handling of the Benghazi attack.  Representative Trey Gowdy took the president up on his offer and requested that President Obama testify before the House of Representatives.  Gowdy also sharply criticized the media for having “a crush on the president.”

 Juan Williams of The Hill accused Israel of overkill in its actions against Hamas’ attacks.  Charles Krauthammer set Williams straight, and pointed out that the “overkill” perception is due to overt manipulation of an anti-Israel media by Hamas.

 KTRE reports that protesters attempting to illegally block the transportation of equipment for the building of the Keystone XL pipeline were arrested.  An interesting tidbit from the report: The “tree-sitters” that the protesters were supporting are actually doing damage to the trees they claim they’re protecting.

MSNBC analyst Krystal Ball expressed her pleasure that President Obama was campaigning for raising taxes on the wealthy in a manner consistent with Saul Alinsky’s tactics.  She then complained that poor ole’ Alinksy had been slandered by conservatives, which drew chuckles from the rest of the panel.
